Creativity is as Important as Literacy

    I remember watching this years ago, and might I just say after finally breaking out of 12 years of public school, I can tell you first hand he is spot on! Public schools are handled more like jails than educational institutions. Fear mongering tactics, rigid lessons plans teaching towards standardized testing, and energy draining food like substances are all that are left in schools these days. I am 18 and my fellow peers have quint programmed dreams of staying close to home, having a good job, and raising a family. They fear the world around them and they do not want to have their realities rocked.
    I on the other hand take the exact opposite route, and I am heading to Australia for college. Although this may be off topic, Lorenzo what is the best way for me to contact you personally? I have a theory I would like to discuss involving the bard and hackers. It’s an interesting web of thoughts that if you’re interested in, I would love to go into detail about.
    But to sum up this video, you need to realize the educational system can easily brain wash your children if left to their own devices. I don’t mean this in an eccentric way, but it is of the same droning that television creates. Let the arts flow throughout your child’s life, inspire their natural creativity, and keep an open mind as always.
